#Il 2 sturmovik battle of stalingrad trainer free
La-7s have very good engine power so feel free to do all the hammerheads you want.įW 190: I advise the A-1 first. They perform a little like a hybrid between a spitfire and a 109 because it has okay to good engine power at low speeds, minus the first La-5. It feels like a brick that will stall easily however La-5N and later on are quite good. Note that you should avoid getting into a spin with spitfires as they can be tricky to come out from. It's good minus the vertical visability as with all spitfires to the point even I suck at shooting down enemies with them, however I have no problem flying them. Spitfire mk 9 (LF): I prefer the LF over the F version because its engine is better in war thunder although the F is pretty good against what it fights, it's the best spitfire you'll ever fly in rank 3 anyway as the others are just too slow. It has more accelleration than the P-51 and its very fast against what it fights so this is a better choice than the P-51 in my opinion. P-38: This sort of plays similar to a P-51, except it isn't recommended to do things like hammerheads. Acceleration is poor in general so I don't actually advise this as a trainer aircraft as it doesn't tolerate much pilot errors in the heat of combat. It's a bit twitchy when it comes to that. P-51: Good handling minus the vertical stability. Ki-43: All-rounder as said, however lacks in ammunition. Other people's recommendations from this thread: Glorious Sealclubber of Japan, HSU maker, the nightmare of the Zero pilot:
most 4.7 BR planes when a lot of Tier IV players are in queue (you get pulled up and well) things which are slower then Ki-84Ko but are within it's BR range) idk, maybe a Boomerang II (which is really slow compared to everything it meets) or some other "special" airplane. La-5 (in part it's generously tiered, but take a La-5F/FN, reduce the performance, reduce maneuverability and add a crappy rear view and you get the La-5) Bf-109G2 (take a 109F4 which performs better, but has 50% worse rear view) Yak-9 & 9U (it's easy, until the point where you try to keep track and shoot an enemy which is in front of you, ha ha) Which means often you have performance advantage) P-47Ds of various kinds (good speed, good firepower, great cockpit, but avoid low speed low altitude flying, however it's rather undertiered P-39N/Q (the 37mm is a bit hard to use at first, and the engine needs a bit of coddling regarding overheating)
Ki-61 (problem is bad guns, else comparable to Bf-109Fs, bit slower but more maneuverable within the realms of sane) Bf-109F4 (visibility is a bit more of a downside, and the centerline armament needs some practice to get used to, speed is good but not exceptional) FW-190A5 (spin recovery can be a bit tricky if you mess up - practice in test flight - and it's not that maneuverable, firepower speed and cockpit are first-rate)
La-5 F/FN (same story, bit more focused on speed and rollrate at expense of sustained turning capability)Įasy but I can't recommend: The Yak-9T/1B are dodgy if you ask me and I'd avoid those, and Typhoon MK1b/L seems also to be running some sort of old FM which is very suspect, Well, some others are too, but I can't vouch for it, so it's best to see what 1.47 brings, eh? Spitfire F IX (because, it's really good and not too hard to fly, performs well, well armed, cockpit visibility is very adequate) Avoiding the obviously problematic aircraft, the good starter planes are, imo, and looking at around 4.3x: Well, the MM is quickest around the 3.3-4.3 BR region.
